Victoria holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Northwestern University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the State of Connecticut.
Clinically trained at Northwestern, Victoria's training focused on working with older teens and adults on issues such as anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, identity, relationship problems, trauma, women's issues, and more.
Victoria's approach developed during her academic and experiential work as well as many diverse post graduate trainings. This training includes a rich foundation in:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
She regularly attends clinical trainings to keep current on knowledge and skills relating to specific treatment approaches as well as furthering her expertise in the science of behavior, human development across the lifespan, and emotional and psychological wellness.
Victoria has experience from her Practicum and internship at a private practice in New York City, and most recently as an Associate in Connecticut. She works with diverse adult clientele to help support their journey.
Victoria is highly experienced in working closely with other medical and mental health professionals, school professionals, and other community associations to help people gain relief from symptoms while developing greater insight and awareness, reducing problematic or disruptive behaviors, improving interpersonal, family, academic, career and community functioning, and overall well being.
