Elizabeth Mason, LCSW

Clinical Social Worker Psychotherapist


Elizabeth holds both a Bachelor of Film Studies from Rhode Island College, a Master of Popular Culture from Bowling Green, and a Master of Social Work from Quinnipiac University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Connecticut.  

Clinically trained at Quinnipiac University and a fellowship through Yale University Department of Psychiatry, Elizabeths training focused on working with Trauma and Attachment .


Elizabeth's approach developed during her academic and experiential work as well as many diverse post graduate trainings. This training includes a rich foundation in:

Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

Trauma Focused Therapies

She regularly attends clinical trainings to keep current on knowledge and skills relating to specific treatment approaches as well as furthering her expertise in the science of behavior, human development across the lifespan, and emotional and psychological wellness.   


Since 2018, Elizabeth has served in many roles in various settings as a School Social Worker, trauma informed children & family therapist, and Intensive Outpatient group Therapist at Bridgeport Hospital's REACH IOP. She is highly experienced in working with teens and adults interested in learning new and more helpful ways to thrive after experiencing trauma and / or Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE).
